Choose how each journey is enriched.

Use iOS Settings to grant full or limited Photos access, change the selected photos, or revoke access. Source photos remain in Apple Photos when you delete a TripLog journal.

Choose On-Device Only to prevent place and weather coordinates from leaving the device. Apple Places permits Apple place lookups. Enriched also permits English Wikipedia lookups for confirmed places.

Keep Historical Weather disabled to prevent weather requests. Clear its local cache from Settings when you no longer want previously downloaded weather data on the device.

Remove enrichment to delete downloaded Wikipedia summaries and links from saved trips without deleting the journal or its source photos.

App preferences and trip records use separate switches. Disable a switch to stop future synchronization from that device. Delete trips while synchronization is enabled when you want those deletions propagated to your other devices.

Diagnostics remain local until you copy them. Review the text before sharing and remove anything unrelated to the support request.

Deleting a trip removes its saved journal, notes, comments, manual events, place choices, and derived context. It does not delete the original photos from Apple Photos.
